Federer crushes Nadal

Federer beats Nadal, 6-4 6-1. It was Federer’s most confident display against Nadal and of course, the most convincing victory.

The match started with both the players holding serve comfortably. Early in the first set, Federer fired four consecutive aces to close the game from 0-30 down. Federer finally broke Nadal in the 10th game to take the set 6-4. The second set was completely one sided. Federer was on top of his game. At one point, Federer won 28 of the last 32 points played. Nadal won a service game at 5-0 after losing seven straight games. In the next game Federer served out to take the set and match.

In the Final, Federer will face Ferrer. Ferrer showed one more brilliant display today in beating Andy Roddick. The final between Federer and Ferrer will be interesting with both the players playing good tennis.
